In this class, students will be guided through the low-relief woodcarving process from start to finish. Build your own low stool from scratch! On day one, we will guide you through joining wood with mortise and tenon techniques, finishing techniques and milk paint application. On day two, guest instructor Phil Syphrit will teach traditional patterns such as herringbone and basketweave using rattan.
