Tiny House Courses
Each year Hammerstone offers a homebuilding series based around a real tiny house project. Courses go through all stages of construction, starting with a bare trailer and finishing with custom cabinetry. Courses are open to complete beginners, and students can take one or all of the series. There are no prerequisites. Whether you're planning to create an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) or restore a small structure on your property, Hammerstone’s Tiny House Courses give you the hands-on carpentry skills to bring your vision to life. All construction skills learned in the series are also applicable to standard size homes. Let’s get building together!

In this 5-day class, students learn the fundamentals of stick framing, the process by which most modern houses are constructed. In this course we frame a tiny house, but the techniques learned can be applied to any structure.
