Instead of building with pine, we will use hardwood like cherry or walnut to construct our bookcase. Hammerstone courses are open to all women and gender minorities. Hammerstone welcomes all trans folks including trans men. Our Build a Bookcase 101 course is a prerequisite.

Description: 
Building on the skills learned in Bookcase 101, this class is designed for students ready to explore more advanced joinery techniques while constructing a new hardwood shelf. Students will continue developing precision measuring, cutting, and assembly skills, and gain experience with finishing techniques.
