Hammerstone courses are open to women-identifying and non-binary folx as well as trans men. Build a Bookcase courses welcome folx of any skill level without a prerequisite.
Description:
One of the wonderful things about learning a craft like woodworking is that many of the things you make are functional as well as beautiful. I personally believe you can never have too many bookcases, but these lovely pine shelves can also function as shoe storage, or a place to keep art supplies. This class is designed for absolute beginners, and introduces simple dado joinery. After this introduction, you can experiment with other, more complicated shelf systems.
