Hammerstone courses are open to all women and gender minorities. Hammerstone welcomes all trans folks including trans men. This course welcomes folks of all skill levels with no prerequisite.

Are you ready to take your hand tool skills up a notch? Do you love creating art? Want to wow a loved one with a one-of-a-kind gift? Join us in our Create Decorative Kumiko course and do all of those things. This course is the quietest on our docket as we settle into the meditative practice of chiseling kumiko pieces. It gives us a chance to connect with one another while building something beautiful.
Have you been to our 2-day kumiko class? In this class you’ll take your kumiko to the next level by learning about diagonal patterns. Never taken a kumiko class before? No worries - we start from the absolute basics.
Sliding Scale Payment:
Since 2020, we have offered a sliding scale for all of our course offerings. Materials costs are not included in the sliding scale. Please choose a tuition amount that you can afford to attend this class.
