Hammerstone courses are open to all women and gender minorities. Hammerstone welcomes all trans folks including trans men. This course welcomes folks of all skill levels with no prerequisite.
Description:
Cutting boards are a great starter project for new woodworkers. They allow us to practice the fundamental skills of processing wood, glue-ups, surfacing and edging slabs, and sanding to a beautiful finish. They also give us the opportunity to experiment with a wide variety of beautiful woods without breaking the bank. Cutting boards make great gifts, but are also functional tools for your own home.
Sliding Scale Payment:
Since 2020, we have offered a sliding scale for all of our course offerings. Materials costs are not included in the sliding scale. Please choose a tuition amount that you can afford to attend this class.
