Join Hammerstone founder Maria on a guided tour through Lowe’s lumber aisles, decoding signage, wood types, and ideal materials for your projects. Then, our resident cheesemonger Rachel Freier, owner of The Cheese Club FLX, will unravel the mysteries of Wegmans' cheese section, empowering you to confidently select and savor cheeses, from everyday staples to gourmet delights. This fun, informative field trip will demystify two of life's great mysteries: lumber and cheese!
Two Hour Tutorials are short evening courses that delve into homeowner fix-it skills as well as carpentry and woodworking basics. More info to come.
Sliding Scale Payment:
Since 2020, we have offered a sliding scale for all of our course offerings. Materials costs are not included in the sliding scale. Please choose a tuition amount that you can afford to attend this class.
