Who is this class for:
Hammerstone courses are open to all women and gender minorities. Hammerstone welcomes all trans folks including trans men. This course welcomes folks of all skill levels with no prerequisite. In Cabinetry Basics we review all the necessary basic carpentry and woodworking skills.

Description:
The craft of cabinetmaking is rooted in fine woodworking, but requires more of a production mentality.  Beyond building the carcasses and doors, the appearance of most cabinets is determined by the doors and drawer fronts.  Learning to build a frame and panel door is a useful skill for cabinetmaking and furniture making alike.
In this class we will use a variety of woodworking tools to build the doors and drawer fronts for the cabinets built in class the previous week.
