Hammerstone courses are open to all women and gender minorities. Hammerstone welcomes all trans folks including trans men. This course welcomes folks of all skill levels with no prerequisite.
Description:
Novice woodworkers are often frustrated with their progress without realizing they're being held back by less than sharp tools. Even in our basic skills classes, students struggling to sharpen their pencil think they're doing something wrong, when really they just have a dull blade in their utility knife. Join us to learn the basics of how to sharpen your chisels, plane blades, and whittling knives.

To ensure the flow of the in-person environment, we allow virtual attendees to follow the lecture and Q&A as observers.
