Hammerstone courses are open to all women and gender minorities. Hammerstone welcomes all trans folks including trans men. This course welcomes folks of all skill levels with no prerequisite.
Description:
One of our most popular courses, this workshop fills up fast, so sign up early! You’ll gain hands-on experience with woodworking tools and techniques while building a functional Adirondack chair to take home. The class combines skill-building, camaraderie, and the Finger Lakes setting (not the Adirondacks, but a close second) for a perfect weekend getaway. Chairs are made from locally sourced, naturally rot-resistant larch, and we’ve refined the design to be both comfortable and durable.
